Hi again, it’s been over a week since I blogged. My intention was to write something every day to keep track of the emotional journey as well as the physical one, but since I went off the rails in week 3, I’ve let myself down! The good news is that in Week 4, I got myself back on track and back onto the program. I had a loss at the Week 4 weigh in, so I’m VERY thankful for that. Some lessons learnt that I will share with the blog when I get a chance to sit down and write, hopefully later today.
I’m 600 grams off my first goal of 15kg but it’s now TTOM so I’m not sure if I’ll get there this week, but we will see!!
Weigh in day today…drum roll please….I’ve lost 2.5kg this week! So that brings the total so far for Round 2 to 3.2kgs. VERY please with that result! Getting close to my 15kg goal now which is just a fantastic feeling.
I’m looking forward to another huge week and a good result on the scales next week.
Sharing a forum post. Feel like it’s cheating a bit just adding something I’ve posted on the forums, but this is a big one & have to record it here.
Hi peeps. I have a bit of a celebration I want to share. I lost 11.5 in Round 2, certainly felt the clothes getting a bit looser, but to me I looked exactly the same in the mirror. I was a little disheartened towards the end because I’m so desperate to change the way I look & feel, but that feeling also fired me up for Round 3!!
Today, I got the gym gear on and what I noticed in the mirror just shocked me. My shirt was so baggy around the shoulders & boobs, to the point of almost being unwearable AND, my butt seems to have “unmerged” with my legs LOL. Hard to explain that one….I guess I can just literally see my legs & hips have shrunk & my butt is changing shape & perking itself up again. Wish I could say the same about my boobs. HAHAHA
So finally, I’m beginning to SEE the changes. I thought it would never happen but it is. I’m well and truly on my way to a new body now and just feeling so happy I could cry.
Weigh in results for Week 1: down 700g. Wooo hooo! Not bad for only 2 days on the program. Can’t wait till next week.
At the gym, they have a scale that measures body fat percentage. I’m going to weigh in on that every week too and track the results there.
